The Birdsell Project

In Summer 2018, Jacob worked with The Birdsell Project to revive their artist residency program at Vested Interest, a former dry-cleaning plant being restored as a home for artists and small businesses, including my studio. The Birdsell Project is an arts organization which seeks to revitalize underutilized spaces by opening them to artists and the community.

Eleven artists built ten large-scale installations throughout the complex, culminating in an opening show, drawing over 400 people.

Jacob designed and photographed three posters for the opening show, photographed each installation for the artists’ use in portfolios and promotion of future work, and documented the process of two installations through West.SB stories.
